Dataplicity.com and Resin.io are both fairly new services which help you to remotely connect to your Raspberry Pi over the internet.
You might be used to connecting to your pi via SSH on your home network, but what if you want to access it over the internet, whilst traveling, or how about hooking up the pi to a network that doesn’t belong to you, e.g. at a Hackathon?
